REPORT EXCERPT:
“...The warmer weather has changed the balm’s consistency, so when I put my finger in to extract it for pig massage, it is almost a liquid oil. There is no need to scoop it up anymore.
The pig is shiny from the oil, and I moved her out of the box (with its cotton batting) so she is standing directly on the plinth surface. I like to think that the ushabtis are there to help the pig in the afterlife, perhaps by farming grain for her to eat.”
